Starting from the intermediate level, students will study the Japanese required for each specialized industry combined basic Japanese classes. Specialized curriculum for students
going on to university and graduate school

This course is designed to help students acquire basic Japanese language skills, as well as practical and communication abilities, with the goal of entering a Japanese university or graduate school. Students will be provided with preparation for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) and the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT N2-N1), and will steadily improve their level in preparation for entering university and graduate school.

Level Goals
Beginner N5-N4 Introduction to the Basics Japanese Language (Mandatory across all courses)
Intermediate N3-N2

1st Semster

  • Acquisition of skills in daily conversation and common expressions in a number of situations.
  • Able to understand key points from short newspaper articles, complete questionnaires by picking out key points and inferring. Approx 700 Kanji characters.

2nd Semster

  • Able to understand the intention behind Japanese conversations,
    as well as better understand TV program contents and movies
  • Read extracts of Japanese current affair discussion sect, and write reports on them.
    Approx 1200 characters.
Advanced N1
  • Acquisition of high reading and listening skills for JLPT and EJU.
  • Able to convey subtle nuances using a wide variety of vocabulary and idiomatic expressions.
  • Comprehend the news and news articles, and able to express opinions according to their topics Approx 3,300 characters.

Practical curriculum providing education and strategies for
job hunting in Japan

Aiming for employment with Japanese companies (including local Japanese-affiliated companies), students will develop the required Japanese language proficiency and communication skills. Starting from the intermediate level, job preparation includes preparing self-promotion, motivation statements, company research and interviews. Additionally, general knowledge, Japanese current affairs, and cultural insights are incorporated.

  • Applicable to individuals with a university degree(4 years course) in their own country (required for working visa requirement)
  • Applicable to individuals who have Japanese language proficiency.
    E.g, 1 year course completion would equate to N3 level of Japanese knowledge, which is required at the time of admission.

1st semester

  • Acquisition of eloquent linguistic skills to communicate ideas at an advanced level.
  • Understanding of magazine articles, documents ,etc. and able to express their own opinions.

2nd semester

  • Understand and discuss Japanese culture, Japanese current affairs, and business customs.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese by email, telephone ect.
Advanced N1
  • Ability to use a vast array of vocabularies to express oneself in a wide range of topics.
  • Able to understand business expressions and treatment inside and outside the company.
  • Articulate use of Japanese language that is sufficient for job interviews.
